Peer Groups…What’s in it for me?
Do you ever feel like you’ve hit a wall? You’ve set goals for your department or organization, and as hard as you try, you can’t get over that one obstacle that’s standing in your way. Do you ever feel stagnant? Stuck in the same spot, not going anywhere. Not seeing new things. Not listening to new perspectives. You know you’re in a funk, but can’t figure out how to get out. Why not think differently? What if I told you that people just like you are struggling with the same issues in their organization and on their teams? Or if I told you there was a way to challenge your habits, thoughts, and assumptions? What if I told you that you didn’t have to face those obstacles alone? When people hear the words “peer groups,” many thoughts can come to mind.
Some might think positively and consider it a group of friends that get together. Others might think it’s a waste of time. Some may fear the accountability or responsibility that comes with a peer group. But not all peer groups are the same.
Let us introduce you to NEXT>>
NEXT>> is a series of meetings navigated by a professional facilitator. It’s a way to keep concepts alive that you have learned in past leadership programs and move them forward. The NEXT>> environment encourages thinking and problem-solving. It’s an experience. It’s not your average peer group – it’s a community to challenge habits and assumptions.
- CONNECT WITH OTHERS: Gain the support and trust from other executives. Speak truthfully in a place free from bias and personal agendas. Open your communication.
- CHALLENGE THOUGHTS AND HABITS: Consider different perspectives. Process business issues with others and look for new opportunities. Brainstorm. Extend your thinking and create new habits.
- TAKE ACTION: Create a plan and move it forward. Solve problems and continue your growth by applying new and discovered concepts. Improve your results.
When we are struggling to hit goals, and we meet with our teams over and over again, yet still get the same results, sometimes, we need different perspectives. Sometimes we need someone outside of our industry to make us think differently. That’s what NEXT>> is all about. It is about issue-processing. It’s about working through problems with people that have different perspectives and different experiences. It’s about making a change. Are you ready to start?
